I guess I can get behind this

Seeing as how my surname has already been appropriated by Rowman & Littlefield publishers, the Littlefield "adventureless capital" corporation in Austin, and now the blog you are currently reading, it's only fair to let another player in on the action. And if it had to be anyone, anywhere, I'm glad it's a performance-and-art space in Gowanus.

I'm not quite sure how owners Julie Kim and Scott Koshnoodi landed on this name for their venue, but their mission (merging "Gowanus’ industrial past with an organic, eco-friendly future") is a fine one, the artist they're currently exhibiting (Sergio Pizzo Barrale) seems awesome in a Francis Bacon kind of way, and they even throw free events like the one above.

So if you're in the city on the 4th, go and buy Littlefield's graphic designer a hot dog. I'd do it myself, but I'll be in Austin, shaking my fist at the Littlefield Corporation. Am I kidding...?
